Mother of Garage Sales recap

Sad news, friends. The lady with the new designer wedding dresses was not at the Mother of All Garage Sales this year. I was so disappointed. This year was the first time they had this event on Friday night in addition to Saturday. It was packed.

Line to get in

I had never heard of Husker Mommy, but her site is pretty cool for those of you in the area.

There was a lot of kids stuff, clothes, craft booths, a booth full of Husker t-shirts, and of course a lot of junk. But hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure, right? I wasn't really in the mood to dig through everything so we walked away empty handed. Although we did get a couple of free Sam's Club bags with spices. Kind of makes up for the $3 admission, right?

I would have preferred to go tomorrow afternoon when people are ready to unload stuff for super cheap. It probably won't be as busy. We have other commitments tomorrow though so tonight was our only option.
